Location and History

This parador is in an ideal location on Obradoiro Square next to one of Spain's finest and most revered cathedrals. It is within walking distance to plenty of great tapas bars and local shopping.

Considered by many to be one of the oldest hotels in the world, it began as a pilgrims' hostel inaugurated by Ferdinand and Isabella in 1499. It also goes by the name Hostal dos Reis Catolicos.
