Mercure Hotel is located in thick jungle, just off the main highway between Puerto Iguazu and the national park. It's a 10-15 minute drive to downtown and a 20-minute drive to the park.

Opened in 2014, the hotel was built and is owned by a national Buenos Aires syndicate TV station, who have a franchise with Mercure. The hotel is very ecologically minded and holds several sustainability awards.
