16 Clarke St, Newport, RI 02840
Description
Cozy Victorian guest house - Near the harbor.
Location and History
Operated by the owners of one of Newport's leading hospitality groups, this circa 1883 inn was completely renovated when ownership changed hands in 2023. Guest rooms are all named for a prominent woman in Newport history, with decor elements to match.
The location is perfect for those who want to be close to all the downtown action—the inn is a block from Thames Street in one direction and Spring Street in the other—but tucked into a side street that's surprisingly quiet.
