Location and History

Opened in 1909 as L'Hotel Royal, the Royal Savoy is a historic landmark hotel in Lausanne. Much like Le Montreux Palace Hotel in nearby Montreux, Royal Savoy quickly began attracting royalty and many other wealthy and famous guests, earning a reputation as one of Switzerland's most luxurious hotels.
