It doesn't look like much from the dusty street, but within the high walls of Bamboo Bonaire is secreted a Zen-like oasis of sophistication and serenity that's unique on the island.

Located on a relatively nondescript stretch of road full of stores, restaurants and hotels, Bamboo Bonaire is across the street from the beach and reveals little more to arriving guests than a bamboo fence with sprigs of shrubbery poking over.
