Location and History

This ryokan, one kilometer from Gora Station, has expanded upon Kan-In-No-Miya, a former summer residence of the imperial family. Though the original Elizabethan-styled half-timbered building, now the site of the restaurant, is hardly Japanese, all else is. This place is clearly meant for rejuvenation, and it provides it ably and admirably.
