Oceania Cruises will operate its first full winter season in the Mediterranean aboard Allura, with 17 voyages from November 2027 to March 2028 forming a highlight of its wider 2027–2028 European programme.

The winter itineraries will range from nine to 26 days, sailing between destinations including Barcelona, Rome, Athens and Istanbul. The deployment will give travellers more opportunities to explore the region during its cooler, less-travelled months.

The broader European collection spans Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, Adriatic and Aegean, combining major cities with smaller ports and extended time ashore. Overnight and extended stays in destinations including Bordeaux, Hamburg and Florence/Pisa/Tuscany are designed to give guests more time to explore.

“Europe is one of the most beloved cruise regions, and we are thrilled to offer our guests year-round opportunities to sail with us,” said Jason Montague, chief luxury officer of Oceania Cruises.

A cooler course through the Mediterranean

Among the winter highlights is Allura’s 12-day Warm Winter Wonderland voyage, departing Athens for Barcelona on 8 December 2027. Calls include Limassol, Rhodes and access to Ephesus, followed by Heraklion, Katakolon, Valletta, Trapani, Cagliari, Mahón and Palma de Mallorca.

A nine-day Iconic Art & Architecture voyage will depart Rome on 31 January 2028. The round-trip itinerary visits Porto Torres, Palma de Mallorca, Tunis, Trapani, Valletta, Messina and Salerno, focusing on the Mediterranean’s artistic and architectural heritage.

Wine trails, ancient tales and northern sails

Beyond the winter deployment, the collection includes sailings focused on European wine regions, historic sites and northern landscapes.

  • Atlantic Wine Trails: A 10-day Lisbon–London voyage aboard Insignia, departing on 24 April 2027. The itinerary visits Porto, La Coruña, Bilbao and Biarritz, with an overnight stay in Bordeaux before calls at Saint-Malo and St Peter Port in Guernsey.

  • Mysteries of History: A nine-day Rome–Istanbul voyage aboard Sirena, departing on 24 May 2027. Calls across Italy, Greece and Turkey include Salerno, Messina, Syracuse, Katakolon, Gythion, Mykonos, Skiathos and Çanakkale, the gateway to ancient Troy.

  • Glacial Adventure: A 13-day Copenhagen–Reykjavik voyage aboard Marina, departing on 26 July 2027. The route takes in Gothenburg, Oslo, Norway’s coast, Tórshavn in the Faroe Islands and several Icelandic ports.

  • Croissants & Cannoli: A 10-day Barcelona–Rome voyage aboard Nautica, departing on 16 September 2027. The itinerary combines the French Riviera, Corsica, Sardinia and southern Italy, with calls including Sète, Marseille, Monte Carlo, Bastia and Messina.

A taste of Europe, ashore and aboard

Small-group shore excursions will connect guests with regional culture, history and food, from vineyard visits on the Iberian Peninsula to medieval streets in Northern Europe and ancient sites in Greece and Turkey.

In the Adriatic and Ionian, the line’s Culinary Discovery Tours will take guests to local markets and family-run producers before a chef-led lunch showcasing regional ingredients. Local flavours and culinary traditions will also feature onboard.

The itineraries pair established destinations such as Rome, Paris, London, Barcelona and Istanbul with smaller calls including Golfo Aranci in Sardinia, Gythion and Skiathos in Greece, Kotor in Montenegro and Taranto in Italy.
