Location and History

A grand building in the center of town, this old-world hotel faces the garden promenade and the casino. Lisbon is 30 minutes away by train with the station a short walk away.

Although slightly past its prime, the popular coastal retreat is aging gracefully in a manner befitting its stature. That said, during its heyday, many of its current clientele would have been shooed away at the front door.
