Location and History

This property occupies three adjacent historic buildings dating to the 1600s. All were homes of nobility. The vaulted basement dates to the 12th century, and now contains the hotel's impressive gym.

Much of the buildings' history has been lost, but in the 1990s they served as government offices until being abandoned. In the early 2000s they were bought by a Belgian family who renovated them into this opulent hotel, which opened in 2009.
