Location and History

Hotel Opus XVI is housed in a historic building from 1876 that once housed Bergen's largest bank and has many references to the life of Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg (whose family owns the hotel).

It is only a five-minute walk from the Floibanen funicular, very close to the harbor, a 10-minute walk from the Bryggens Museum, and a half-hour drive from the airport.
