StarCruises will reposition its flagship vessel, Star Navigator, from Keelung to Kaohsiung for winter operations between 16 November 2025 and 30 January 2026. The season will begin with a 2-night repositioning cruise from Keelung to Kaohsiung on 14 November, followed by nine 2-night “Weekend Sea-cations” to Laoag in the Philippines, and two “Cruise to Nowhere” sailings.
The winter programme includes eleven 5-night cruises, featuring:
Two “All Okinawa Cruises” (30 Nov, 28 Dec) calling at Naha, Miyakojima and Ishigaki
Two “Vietnam Cruises” (16 Nov, 7 Dec) visiting Da Nang and Ha Long Bay
Three “Puerto Princesa Cruises” (23 Nov, 4 & 18 Jan) to Laoag, Coron and Puerto Princesa

One “Palawan Cruise” (25 Jan) to Coron and Puerto Princesa
“This marks our third consecutive year homeporting in Kaohsiung,” said Michael Goh, president of StarDream Cruises. “This winter homeport in Kaohsiung, featuring our ‘Warm Winter Cruises,’ allows local travellers to sail to exciting new ports of call, including Laoag, Coron, Puerto Princesa and Boracay in the Philippines, as well as Ha Long Bay and Da Nang in Vietnam.”
Kaohsiung City Mayor Chen Chi-Mai noted: “This year, StarCruises will deploy its flagship vessel, the Star Navigator, to Kaohsiung Port as its home port,” adding that the total 28 cruise calls scheduled in the second half of 2025 are expected to generate more than NT$650 million (US$22 million) in tourism revenue and attract over 100,000 passengers.
