Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) has announced a new scheme offering free direct bus service tickets from Hong Kong International Airport to Macao, encouraging visitors in Hong Kong, including international and Taiwan region tourists, to explore Macao as an extension of their trip.
The move aims to amplify tourism in both Hong Kong and Macao, diversifying the visitor base with a more global appeal. To facilitate this, MGTO collaborates with the bus service operator to provide these complimentary tickets for eligible tourists arriving at Hong Kong International Airport.
Upon arrival, qualifying visitors can approach the designated counter, presenting their travel documents and boarding passes to receive free bus tickets. The service operates to the Macao Port at the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. Throughout the offer duration, tourists can access this free bus service multiple times, subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.
