The Macau-Zhuhai border has reopened after six weeks of closure, as Macau recovers from its recent spate of Covid-19 outbreaks.

Cross-border quarantine-free travel has resumed between the two cities, with conditions attached.

Travellers entering Zhuhai from Macau will need to show a negative Covid-19 test result no older than 24 hours. They then need to take another test within 48 hours of travelling to the city and are banned from taking public transport or attending social gatherings within the first three days of their arrival.

Entertainment facilities and services have also reopened in Macau.
