Princess Cruises has achieved a new Guinness World Records title for the "World's Largest Pizza Party" held across its fleet of ships. Guests consumed over 60,000 slices of pizza during the event, which celebrated the cruise line's new partnership with 13-time World Pizza Champion, Chef Tony Gemignani.

Chef Gemignan created two exclusive pizzas for Princess and provided recipes for three of his signature pizzas. His creations will debut at Alfredo's onboard the new Sun Princess, with plans to extend to the rest of the fleet this summer.

Callie Smith, a Guinness World Records adjudicator, confirmed the record-breaking event. Chef Gemignani personally trained Princess chefs to ensure authenticity and quality of his pizzas served at sea.

John Padgett, President of Princess Cruises, stated, "While Princess has long been known for having the best pizza at sea, we decided to take it up an entirely new level with legendary Tony Gemignani and also set a Guinness World Records title in the process."

The new pizzas will be available at Alfredo's and Gigi's specialty pizzerias onboard Princess Cruises.

This achievement marks Princess Cruises' second Guinness World Records title, following their record for the largest marriage vow renewal ceremony in 2020.
