Oceania Cruises has announced the launch of its first 'Culinary
Masters’ Cruise’ aboard Marina in October 2024. Promising an immersive
foodie experience, this exclusive voyage will be hosted by Oceania
Cruises’ Master Chefs of France, Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale.
Scheduled to depart from Valletta, Malta, on 16 October 2024, and
concluding in Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy, the 1,250-guest Marina will
traverse ports in Croatia, Greece, and Italy, offering guests a
delectable blend of onshore culinary explorations and onboard epicurean
delights.
“Oceania Cruises is a cruise line built by foodies, run by foodies,
for foodies,” commented Frank A. Del Rio, President of Oceania Cruises.
“Since our launch 20 years ago, we have put food at the heart of
everything we do, so hosting our first-ever Culinary Masters’ Cruise is a
natural evolution for us.”
This voyage aims to immerse guests in a culinary extravaganza,
providing insights into Oceania Cruises’ gourmet heritage. The agenda
includes onstage panel discussions, live cooking demonstrations by Chef
Alex and Chef Eric, and exclusive experiences such as the signature gala
seafood brunch and themed Chef’s Market Dinners featuring locally
sourced ingredients from visited destinations.
Moreover, guests can opt for tailored experiences unique to this
cruise, including culinary tours, hands-on cooking classes led by
Oceania Cruises’ culinary team, expert-led wine tastings, and an
exclusive private dinner event.
The itinerary boasts a rich culinary experience, embarking from
Valletta and traversing Mediterranean and Adriatic gems such as Kotor,
Dubrovnik, Bari, Corfu, Katakolon, and concluding with Naples, offering
an indulgent taste of Mediterranean culinary delights.
The inaugural 'Culinary Masters’ Cruise’ aims to redefine the art of
gastronomy while exploring captivating destinations, making it the
ultimate voyage for avid foodies.
