At the recent 2026 Formula 1 Cypto.com Miami Grand Prix over the 1-3 May weekend, race goers had another prime vantage point – not from the stands, but from a ‘ship’.
Anchored at the Miami International Autodrome circuit’s marina area, the purpose-built MSC Yacht Club takes inspiration from the actual club onboard MSC Cruises' vessels, an exclusive area featuring private suites, 24/7 butler and concierge services.
Standing 15m tall and 80.5m wide, the multi-level structure sits along what organisers claim to be “one of the circuit’s most dynamic sections”, offering guests views across turns five to nine.
Spread across five decks totaling 2973 sqm, the MSC Yacht Club offers “elite race views” from multiple decks. This includes reserved shaded seating at Deck Two with prime track views, a higher vantage point at Deck Three, or the highest viewpoint at the Captain’s Deck – offering 360-degree panoramic views.
It is also possible to book the nine private cabanas for up to 20 guests on the Marina Deck, for a comfortable lounge setting across the race weekend.
Meanwhile, Deck one features an open-air space to relax and recharge at the pool or lounge seating area.
Managing the F&B front is Bagatelle – a French hospitality brand of luxury restaurants and beach clubs – which additionally caters a Chef’s Table experience for guests seeking an elevated menu. There is also a Jack Daniel’s bar experience with custom curated cocktails at Deck Three.
All MSC Yacht Club tickets come inclusive of three-day race access, dining and light bites, as well as alcohol and drinks.
Fans who missed out on the inaugural experience can look out for future races, since the cruise line has confirmed its multi-year commitment to hosting the new hospitality space at the Miami Grand Prix.
