Already used ‘extensively’ in Europe covering more than 250 cities, the white-label solution enables B2B players to communicate directly with their customers.
POPGuide, a B2B offline mapping app and audio-guide system solution by VOX Group, has announced plans to expand to Asia, said newly appointed CMO John Boulding who was previously global CEO of Insight Vacations.
Already used ‘extensively’ in Europe covering more than 250 cities, the white-label solution enables B2B players to communicate directly with their customers.
The app can be customised and branded by partners to add value, build retention and grow profits. Partners can also benefit from rich data on user activities and earn money from special promotions.
Travellers can also benefit as the app operates offline, avoiding roaming charges. It is also “geotagged to integrate audio, images and text with main city highlights for a fully interactive experience” explained Boulding.
Already operating in eight languages including Mandarin, Boulding believes the solution will “fit ideally with the Asian market”.
He said, “Our objective is to distribute POPGuide world-wide. Asia is absolutely a key market for us and we’ll be building a dedicated sales presence very soon.”
In the days to come, Boulding and his team will reach out to tour operators, travel agents, hotels, museums and venues to show how the interface can transform their customer experience.
