Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) has unveiled a new team "to further drive and develop its company-wide culture of innovation".

The innovation team, named ‘Corp-i’, will be headed up by Vincent Lebunetel, vice president, corporate innovation.

The team will manage CWT’s innovation portfolio, including a dedicated innovation fund which will be used to steer future partnerships, projects and ideas.

They will drive three core streams:

- Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders within the innovation ecosystem including internal and external entrepreneurs, and industry institutions

- Developing prototypes, processes and new applications.

- Exploring and testing new concepts.

As part of the launch, a dedicated web gateway has been created - www.cwtinnovation.com - giving guidance on how businesses can work with CWT in this area.

David Moran, executive vice president, global marketing & enterprise strategy, said, “Innovation is part of our culture at CWT. To ensure we maintain our position as an industry leader, we believe it is important to take ownership and have a dedicated team purely focused on potential opportunities and developments.

"There is substantial, untapped potential for new technologies, services and projects out there, and this team will find, test and trial them."
