Travel company The Travel Corporation has announced plans to expand its sales network in the Middle East that sees TTC India’s country manager, Darshan Maheshwari, promoted to a dual leadership role that includes TTC Middle East.
“TTC already has a strong presence in India, where Darshan has played an instrumental role In accelerating this growth,” said Nicholas Lim, managing director, The Travel Corporation, Asia.
“We are confident that Darshan will be able to unlock the full potential of our business in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar.”
The group owns other travel brands including Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, Contiki Holidays and luxury brands Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection and 17 luxury boutique hotels.
With over 22 years of experience in the travel industry, Maheshwari has a diverse background in both leisure and business travel. Based in Mumbai, Maheshwari will be responsible for expanding TTC’s regional footprint and will actively engage agent partners in training and sales-driven events.
He will also help introduce TTC’s solutions for travel agents, including TTC Agent Academy, an e-learning platform for agents to build their knowledge of TTC’s core brands.
