The agency had falsified the identity of its key executive in its application for renewal of licence. In addition, STB has also received complaints from Baba Travel’s industry partners and customers regarding outstanding payments owed by Baba Travel, it said in a statement.

Travel agency Baba Travel will have its licence revoked with effect from May 24, 2018, in accordance with the Travel Agents Act (Chapter 334), Singapore Tourism Board (STB) said in a statement. 

The agency had falsified the identity of its key executive in its application for renewal of licence. In addition, STB has also received complaints from Baba Travel’s industry partners and customers regarding outstanding payments owed by Baba Travel, it said in a statement. 

Baba Travel will still be required to refund all its existing customers or hand over its existing obligations to a licensed travel agent to fulfil.
