Several travel agencies in Singapore have had their licences revoked for regulatory non-compliance, the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) announced on 23 June 2025.

The affected agencies failed to submit their Audited Statement of Accounts and/or Annual Business Profile Returns within six months after their financial year end, as required by the Travel Agents Regulations 2017. One agency, VS Travel Pte. Ltd., was also penalised for not maintaining the minimum net value of S$100,000 mandated under the same regulations.

The agencies and their revocation dates are:

  • Wizfair Travel Pte. Ltd. (TA03601) – 13 June 2025

  • Gemini Travel n Tours Pte. Ltd. (TA03481) – 18 June 2025

  • Intersys Pte Ltd (TA03471) – 18 June 2025

  • SGWanka Pte Ltd (TA03640) – 18 June 2025

  • VS Travel Pte. Ltd. (TA02807) – 18 June 2025

These companies are no longer authorised to carry out any travel agent activities. According to the STB, “The revoked travel agents must refund all their existing customers or hand over their existing obligations to licensed travel agents to fulfil.”

STB stated it “takes a serious view against errant travel agents and will not hesitate to take necessary actions to protect the reputation of Singapore’s travel industry.”
