The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair returns from 3-5 April this year at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur, with the association doubling down on what it says has long set the event apart: trust.
This 58th edition of the MATTA Fair will span 40,820 sqm across 10 halls, featuring over 2,000 booths from 307 participating companies.
Exhibitor participation is expected to continue growing in the coming weeks. Each vendor is also checked to be licensed and credible industry players including tour and travel operators, hoteliers, and travel-related service providers – a move MATTA says “so visitors can plan their holidays with peace of mind”.
“MATTA is here to instill trust amongst our visitors. Over the years, we have strengthened that trust between our members and the travelling public,” says Nigel Wong, president of MATTA and organising chairman of MATTA Fair April 2026.
“Every exhibitor at MATTA Fair consists of licensed and credible industry players including tour and travel operators, hoteliers, and travel-related service providers. This is so visitors can plan their holidays with peace of mind.”
Apart from interactive sessions and exclusive travel deals, buyers looking for responsible and sustainable travel ideas can head to the MATTA Eco & Sustainable Tourism Initiative (MESTI) pavilion, hosting over 45 exhibitors showcasing eco-conscious offerings and sustainable products.
MATTA’s popular contests also make a return, including the ‘Ride & Reels’ contest. Visitors who take the complimentary shuttle services from KL Sentral and Sunway Putra Mall to MITEC are encouraged to capture and share their journey on board, to stand a chance to win tech prizes.
MATTA Fair is free for admission and is open from 10 am to 9 pm.
