Contiki has unveiled Go Wander, the biggest transformation in its 64-year history, introducing new destinations, a revamped product structure and lower everyday pricing aimed at making travel more accessible to young travellers.
Launched on 29 October, the Go Wander initiative is the first stage of a multi-year transformation for the youth travel operator, which caters to travellers aged 18 to 35.
At the heart of the initiative is a reorganisation of Contiki's portfolio into eight themed Travel Worlds, making it easier for travellers and travel advisors to find trips that match specific interests, travel styles and budgets.
These range from small-group tours under Contiki Local and European itineraries under Contiki Originals to lower-priced trips under Contiki Lite. Other categories cover major sights, outdoor activities, island holidays, festivals and luxury experiences.
"GO WANDER is a reinvention of Contiki, inspired by the pioneering spirit that's been part of our story from the start and reimagined for a new generation of young travellers," said Toni Ambler, managing director of The Travel Corporation Oceania and chief customer officer of Contiki.
“With 76 new trips, eight new travel worlds built around personal interests, and more ways to travel, we’re giving our travel agent partners more opportunities to match their clients with the right adventure.”
As part of the overhaul, Contiki will introduce 76 new trips by the end of 2026, including the addition of Fiji and the Maldives to its destination portfolio. Alongside the new destinations, Contiki is expanding its itineraries in India and Japan. The company reported a nearly 29% increase in passenger travel to Asia between 2023 and 2026, citing internal data.
Contiki said its revised pricing model introduces lower everyday prices across the portfolio, reducing the need for customers to wait for flash sales or limited-time promotions.
