Tours and activities booking platform Klook has embarked on a global partnership with Rail Europe, a distributor of European rail products, to offer travellers easy access to both rail and in-destination services.

From late 2018, travellers have been able to access Rail Europe’s services through Klook’s dedicated Europe Rail landing page, which includes point-to-point train tickets as well as rail passes. The rail distributor currently represents over 50 railroads throughout Europe.

The new booking site supports real-time city-to-city booking for train tickets and seat reservations for rail passes.

“Seeing a tremendous success of Klook's rail experiences in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, we are excited to pioneer technological innovations in European rail services,” said Eric Gnock Fah, Klook's COO and co-founder.

“These efforts reinforce our mission to be a one-stop booking platform for travellers to discover and book in-destination experiences of all kinds,” he added.

Klook's platforms support both e-ticket for users worldwide and physical tickets in close to 20 markets.

“As a growing number of travellers seek more convenient, on-the-spot booking options, we believe Klook's innovative mobile services will make the beautiful train journeys of Europe more accessible than ever,” said Dâu-Khôi Nguyen, president and CEO, Rail Europe SAS.
