A&K Sanctuary, part of A&K Travel Group, has announced two new openings scheduled for 2026 – Kitirua Plains Lodge in Kenya and Nile Seray in Egypt.
Opening on 1 June 2026, Kitirua Plains Lodge will be located on a 128-acre private concession bordering Amboseli National Park. The all-suite property offers views of Mount Kilimanjaro and will comprise 13 standalone suites, including two with two bedrooms.
Designed in collaboration with Luxury Frontiers, the lodge includes a spa, gym, swimming pool, and a traditional boma. Cristina Levis, CEO of A&K Travel Group, said: “Kitirua is a return to our roots, and a bold leap forward. This is a property that honours our heritage whilst looking to the future.”

Also debuting in 2026, Nile Seray will be A&K Sanctuary’s fifth riverboat in Egypt. The 32-suite vessel accommodates up to 64 guests, with entry-level suites starting from 33 square metres. Features include two restaurants, a spa, gym, swimming pool, and outdoor lounge areas.
Each voyage includes access to archaeological sites such as the tombs of Nefertari, Seti I, Ramses VI and Tutankhamun, alongside cultural activities including cooking classes and felucca sailing.
“Nile Seray represents the evolution of our nearly five decades of pioneering river cruising in Egypt,” Levis shared. “This vessel embodies our understanding that luxury today is defined not by excess, but by space, authenticity, and the quality of experience.”
Bookings for both are now open.
