Saudi Arabia is adding another attraction to its sport and entertainment options with a Nick Faldo-designed golf course opening in 2028 at Riyadh’s entertainment capital, Qiddiya City.
Located about 45 kilometres from the centre of Riyadh, Qiddiya City’s entertainment, sports, and cultural facilities including Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium, which will host the FIFA World Cup 2034; the Speed Park motorsports track, and the Mercedes-AMG World.
A new 3,000-seat Performing Arts Centre will combine three different technologies – virtual reality, augmented reality and artificial intelligence – to stage world-class productions.
Qiddiya City’s partnership with the Faldo World Series will see an 18-hole championship-standard golf course open alongside a sports club and training academy,.The golf course will be set alongside the Tuwaiq Mountains, with night lighting allowing for extended playing hours.
