When Greg Webb steps down as Travelport’s CEO on 31 March 2026, he will be succeeded by John Mangelaars, the current COO and deputy CEO, on 1 April.

Webb, who has led the company since 2019, will remain on the travel booking content provider’s board of directors.

John Swainson, chairman of the board thanked Webb for his “outstanding leadership and contributions,” pointing out the “notable accomplishments that underscore Travelport’s position as a technology leader in travel retailing” under his lead.

Incoming CEO Mangelaars joined the brand this year, with over 30 years of leadership experience spanning global technology and travel industries across both B2B and B2C sectors.

Prior to this, the industry stalwart served as CEO at Skyscanner as well as CEO at global online travel agency Travix International.

“Our mission remains clear: to enhance travel retailing by delivering smarter, faster, and more connected solutions for our customers. I look forward to working with our excellent team and valued partners to continue driving innovation and growth,” said Mangelaars.
