Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has announced a new president, Marc Kazlauskas, who begins his role on 19 January 2026.

With more than 30 years of senior leadership experience across sales and operations in the global travel industry, Kazlauskas most recently served as CEO of host agency Avoya Travel, and was president of the Frosch travel agency prior to that.

“Marc is a proven leader with deep commercial expertise and an unwavering commitment to the guest experience,” said Harry Sommer, president and CEO of NCL, who has been interim president since David Herrera's departure in August.

This new role also marks the incoming president’s return to the supplier side of travel.

Kazlauskas started his travel career with Orient Lines, and spent 12 years as president of the US arm of Insight Vacations. The industry veteran has also held senior executive roles at Trafalgar and Tauck.

He’s also a former member of the Board of Directors for Signature Travel Network and has served on advisory boards for major global airlines and travel companies.

Kazlauskas added that his appointment comes at “an exciting moment”, referring to “the upcoming debut of Norwegian Luna, as well as the company’s strong pipeline of newbuilds through 2036 and major enhancements to Great Stirrup Cay”, calling the company well positioned for future success.
