KUALA LUMPUR - The Pan Pacific Hotel Kuala Lumpur has been
renamed Seri Pacific Hotel following the handing of the
management and operations to Malaysian hotel management
company, Residence Hotels & Resorts. The management
agreement between RHR and Seri Pacific Corporation Sdn Bhd,
the owner of Pan Pacific KL, was sealed here recently. The
550-room hotel will undergo a major renovation and
refurbishment exercise, which is expected to be completed
by the end of the year. The hotel's operations will not be
disrupted as the renovations will be carried out
floor-by-floor. This is the sixth property under RHR's
management. RHR has plans to expand overseas to operate
hotels in Dubai, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi in the Middle East and
Shanghai in China, said its managing director, Rohanna
Ramli.
