ISLAMABAD - Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has imposed a US$15 no-show charge on each ticket on its international routes. PIA made this announcement soon after the attack that forced the suspension of all domestic and foreign flights to and from the US. The cancellation charges on international flights were imposed, according to a spokesperson, "to check the tendency to book and then not to travel without warning." European careers have suspended their operations to Pakistan since last Tuesday. However, the Emirates Airlines, Gulf Air, Jordanian Airlines, Egypt Airlines, Qatar Airways, Kuwait Airways and the carriers from the East continue to operate to Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad International Airports.
