PHUKET – Stephan Stoss has been appointed Marriott’s cluster general manager in Phuket, Thailand, responsible for the three Courtyard By Marriott Hotels and the soon to open Marriott Hotel and Spa at Kamala Cove here.
Stoss takes up the newly formed position to oversee operations, finance, marketing and sales at Courtyard By Marriott Phuket at Kamala Beach, Courtyard By Marriott Phuket at Patong Beach and Courtyard By Marriott Phuket at Surin Beach with immediate effect.
The move sees Stoss continue his relationship with Marriott, in a 12-year career with the hospitality giant during which time he has held senior postings in Russia, Hungary, China and most recently as General Manager of the Renaissance Makati City Hotel, Manila, in the Philippines.
Prior to joining Marriott, German-born Stoss worked with Hilton in Germany, the UK and the Middle East.
