The agreement with international property developer Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC) will include 36 branded residences and the hotel group’s first membership club in Asia.

Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas will operate a 60-room hotel at the 119-acre The Forestias ‘green’ development at Bangna in Bangkok.

Six Senses CEO Officer Neil Jacobs said, “Six Senses seeks unique locations where we can operate sustainably and with concern for our surroundings in what we term local sensitivity, global sensibility."

The development will have a strong focus on health and wellness. “This collaboration is based on a shared goal: to give guests and residents the highest-quality experiences for health and well-being while operating in total harmony with the human and natural environment," said Visit Malaisirirat, MQDC CEO.

Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas operates 16 hotels and resorts plus 30 spas in 21 countries under the brand names Six Senses, Evason and Six Senses Spas. 

The portfolio will triple over the next five years with resort, hotel and spa openings underway in Austria, Bhutan, Brazil, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Israel, St. Kitts and Nevis, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand and the United States.

MQDC develops residential and mixed-use projects under the luxury Magnolias brand and the urban Whizdom brand.
