The 15,000 square feet Grand Royal Suite, Myanmar’s largest and most secure suite served as the stately home during the summit.   

Kempinski Hotel has opened in time for the inaugural ASEAN Summit. US President Obama was hosted as the first Head of State in Myanmar’s newest hotel.

The 15,000 square feet Grand Royal Suite, Myanmar’s largest and most secure suite served as the stately home during the summit.   

Kempinski Nay Pyi Taw is the company’s first property in Myanmar. The new-build hotel features 141 rooms and suites, located within three one-story villas. 

At the same time, Kempinski announced the signing of its second property in Myanmar, Kempinski Hotel Yangon, scheduled to open in Q4 2016. The colonial-style former State House will be converted to feature 229 rooms and suites.
