Mondrian Gold Coast has officially opened in Burleigh Heads, introducing the Mondrian brand to Australia for the first time. The 208-room beachfront property, designed by Fraser & Partners, features oversized accommodation and views of the Pacific Ocean, Burleigh Headland, and hinterland.
Guests can choose from a range of room types including 132 Studios, 63 Suites, 10 two- and three-bedroom Homes, and two private Beach Houses with plunge pools. The Sky House, located on the 24th floor, features five-metre-high windows, a chef’s kitchen and bar.

Dining venues include LiTO, led by Head Chef Andrea Morigi, serving Mediterranean-style dishes in a casual coastal setting; and Haven, led by Executive Chef Aaron Teece, offering seafood-focused fare, a dedicated agave menu and live entertainment.
Wellness amenities include a 24/7 Technogym-equipped fitness centre and CIEL Spa, which opens for bookings from 15 June and offers bio-wellness treatments and restorative therapies. On level three, guests can access magnesium plunge pools and a 24-metre pool.
The hotel spans four levels of event spaces, with 20 venues including the Mondrian Ballroom and the VeeRoom for elevated gatherings.
Mondrian Gold Coast will also host cultural events including music showcases and artist collaborations. Standard room rates begin at AU$749 (US$485) per night for a Studio King.
