The 70-key Banyan Tree Bodrum will feature 14 spa suits with private pools, 40 standard rooms and 30 branded suites sprawling across 2,000 square metres. It is expected to open in Spring 2017.
Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts has announced the launch of its first resort hotel in Turkey. Nef Bodrum will be the real estate developer’s first foray outside Istanbul.
The 70-key Banyan Tree Bodrum will feature 14 spa suits with private pools, 40 standard rooms and 30 branded suites sprawling across 2,000 square metres. It is expected to open in Spring 2017.
Located at a secluded cape surrounded by sea on three sides, the resort comes with a 460-metre long private beach accessible to guests.
Erden Timur, Nef CEO, described the partnership as a “great motivation for the tourism sector”, besieged lately by a number of terror attacks.
He added, “Tourism investments have fallen approximately by 50% compared to last year. We are pleased to contribute to both the tourism sector and the Turkish economy in a large scale, by such a remarkable partnership during a period of suspended investments.”
The partnership marks the first Banyan Tree opening in Europe.
