Banyan Tree Group is continuing to expand in East China with the opening of three resorts: Banyan Tree Yangcheng Lake, Garrya Yangcheng Lake and Gary Xianju.

Philip Ding, vice president and head of regional operations – China at Banyan Group, said the new resorts will inject vitality into the local economies “and contribute to the growth of tourism in regional China”.

The opening of the resort complex at Yangcheng Lake strengthens Banyan Group’s footprint in the Yangtze River Delta region with its flagship Banyan Tree brand, and its fast growing Garrya brand.

Banyan Tree Yangcheng Lake, offering 70 guest rooms and villas, with private hot spring pools on every terrace, a Banyan Tree Spa and well-being facilities. Mingyue All-Day Dining Restaurant and Baiyun Chinese Restaurant showcase local specialties, such as the famed hairy crabs.

Garrya Yangcheng Lake embodies a ‘Garden Fantasy’ theme across 210 rooms and suites. At its two restaurants, ‘Refresh’ and ‘Retreat’, guests can enjoy regional Chinese cuisines and international fare prepared with fresh produce from the resort’s own farm. The resort includes a dedicated kids’ club.

Garrya Xianju, Banyan Group’s inaugural resort in Taizhou, is situated within the Shenxianju Scenic Area. The 195-room resort offers an integrated stay where facilities include two dining establishments, a riverside pool, kids’ club, yoga room and treatments at 8LEMENTS Spa.
