NEW DELHI- The “Drop Anchor” restaurant and bar on Baga beach in Goa is getting publicity in the Scandanavian market, a big source market for Goa. It has been chosen the venue of a Swedish reality TV show.
“Beach Bar Goa”, is to be aired on Swedish channel TV3 over the next three months.
“We love Goa. It is like paradise to us during winter,” says Robert Aschberg, host of Strix Television A B Sweden, was quoted saying.
Over 25 web cameras have been installed in the bar and in contestants’ apartments are online 24 hours a day.
People can drop by for a drink at the bar and talk to the contestants. 12 contestants will be divided in two teams to work in the restaurant, each trying to outsmart the other.
Viewers will decide who stays and who doesn’t. The winner gets half a million Swedish Kroner.
