14 August 2001SINGAPORE - Michel Geday has left Sheraton Towers Singapore after serving as its general manager the past four years.
Geday, whose last day with the hotel was August 10, said he had completed his assignment at the hotel. "The renovation is complete, a good new team is in place and it’s up to them to take it forward," he said in a telephone interview with TravelWeekly East.
Taking over is the hotel’s vice president-operations and finance, Steven Long, who has long been tipped to replace Geday.
Geday said he was remaining in Singapore for a while and was looking for options.
