MELBOURNE - With less than four months to its opening, the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre has already in the bag 180 events till 2010.
“As lead times are getting shorter in the local market, I believe there will be lot more interest in the next few months,” said Peter Brokenshire, general manager of KLCC.
He said KLCC enjoys a strategic location within the heart of the capital and 13,000 hotel rooms within a 10 minute-radius.
Among the facilities at the Centre include four exhibition halls offering 9,710 sqm of column-free space; a ballroom for 2,000 banquet-style; a conference hall for 1,780 people and 20 meeting rooms.
The Centre opens June 12.
