Organisers of It’s the Ship, billed as Asia’s largest festival experience on board a cruise ship, have announced a sixth edition for November 13.

Partygoers will set sail from Singapore on board Dream Cruises’ Genting Dream on a three-day, two-night voyage.

Previous editions have featured headline acts like Dutch DJ-duos Dash Berlin and Yellow Claw, as well as themed pop-up parties and exclusive ‘closed-door’ events.

Festival organisers Livescape Group said in a release that nearly 117,000 partygoers from 88 countries have sailed on board. And slightly more than a third have returned for repeat editions since.

“We’re thrilled to offer the ultimate non-stop ‘shipcation’ onboard our sixth edition, with a stellar artiste lineup, surprise parties, and round-the-clock activities in a five-star resort setting at sea. 2019 marks our strongest edition yet, and we cannot wait to embark on this voyage,” said Iqbal Ameer, group chief executive of Livescape Group.

Partygoers can test their dance skills at a dance battle on the cruise deck, attend DJ-led boutique fitness classes and dress to impress at a glamorous evening party.

Early-bird tickets to ‘It’s The Ship’ start from US$433 to US$2,121 per person, inclusive of 24-hour dining at selected restaurants, selected non-alcoholic beverages and free access to most of the ship’s facilities and events.

Livescape has also launched a China edition of the festival from June 13 to 17. The five-day, four-night voyage will begin from Shanghai to the Japanese island of Shimonoseki on board the MSC Splendida.
