Taking part at the F1 Pit Building, the festival will feature a meet and greet with the founder of 501st Legion, Albin Johnson and R2-KT, band performances by fan group ‘Dark Empire’, a kids costume parade, movie under the stars, and the finally, the STAR WARS RUN Singapore 2018 on the night of May 5.
Fans of Star Wars, rejoice. As a tribute to the iconic brand, Singapore event organiser Esprimo, with the support of Singapore Tourism Board, will be hosting a two-day festival starting from May the 4th – a date derived from the catchphrase “May the Force Be With You”.
Taking part at the F1 Pit Building, the festival will feature a meet and greet with the founder of costuming group 501st Legion, Albin Johnson, and R2-KT, band performances by fan group ‘Dark Empire’, a kids costume parade, movie under the stars, and finally, the STAR WARS RUN Singapore 2018 on the night of May 5.
Featuring three race categories this year – from the inaugural 540m Young Jedi Dash to the competitive 10km and non-competitive 5.4km, there is something for participants of all ages or fitness level.
Participants will be able to choose one of two routes - to join the Rebellion on the Light side, or be called to the Dark side.
Prizes up for grabs in the competitive segments include a special trophy sponsored by event partner Royal Selangor, Garmin Forerunner watch and up to S$1,000 in cash for each of the top three finishers for men and women in the 10km category.
