The search is on to find Europe's most creative corporate event for the inaugural EIBTM Awards, to be held in Geneva on May 30.

The EIBTM Awards are a new industry initiative taking place in the build-up to and during EIBTM 2001, the global showcase for the meetings, incentive and business travel industry.

In conjunction with the UK's Conference & Incentive Travel magazine, the awards will be presented for the first time on Wednesday May 30 at the event's Gala Dinner in Geneva.

Debbie Jackson, exhibition director said: "The awards will be the equivalent of the 'Oscars' of the MICE market in Europe, providing companies with an exclusive and highly prized mark of successful quality and creativity in their work."

The question currently being posed to hundreds of companies and event management agencies is: Which has been the most creative, best-organised, most memorable, most motivating corporate event to take place between October 1999 and December 2000?

Entry is open to advertising, marketing and PR agencies, production companies, EMCs, DMCs, conference organisers, resort hotels, airlines, rail and coach operators and shipping lines, who can apply on behalf of their clients.
