Chinese carriers in codeshare

HONG KONG – Two Chinese carriers have commenced codeshare agreements with Cathay (CX) and Thai Airways (THAI) beginning October 30. CX’s new code share services to Beijing with Air China commenced is expected to strengthen CX’s gateway position in Mainland China. Air China will place its code on 10 weekly CX flights to the capital. CX will do the same on three daily return flights operated by Air China. THAI and China Eastern Airlines are codesharing on services between Bangkok to Shanghai.
