BRUNEI - Brunei Tourism, together with Asian Tour and The
Empire Hotel & Country Club, will be organizing
Brunei's first ever official professional golf tournament.
The Brunei Open 2005 will be held at the 18-hole
championship course of The Empire Hotel & Country Club
from June 23-26 2005. The US$300,000 tournament which will
gather a field of some 140 of Asia's finest professional
golfers is aimed to position Brunei as a high profile
golfing destination in the region.
