CA SEGA JOYPOLIS has announced the upcoming launch of JOYPOLIS SPORTS
at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Sports Park. Spanning over 30,000 square feet
across five floors, the indoor "Sportainment" centre will feature more
than 20 facilities, marking the first JOYPOLIS SPORTS flagship outside
Japan.
The new attraction will be divided into three themed zones:
- NINJA DOJO: This zone combines traditional Japanese
ninja elements with the Ninja Warrior sports concept, offering
participants a chance to engage in modern ninja training. Activities
include martial arts, weapon throwing, and fitness challenges, with a
personal assessment at the end to evaluate participants' skills.
- SONIC STADIUM: The first Sonic the Hedgehog-themed
interactive playground, designed for children aged 0 to 6, will feature
various Sonic-themed games, including the popular "Air Dome". Teenagers
and adults can enjoy Sonic Athletics, a series of races and matches
infused with Sonic the Hedgehog elements.
- FUTURE ARENA: This zone will showcase innovative
sports games using Mixed Reality (MR) technology. Among the highlights
is the "VALO ARENA", making its debut in Greater China, where players
can engage in immersive, motion-tracked games without the need for
additional equipment.
The top floor will house "Hungry Tiger Hidden Dragon", a restaurant
and bar designed by Keo W., offering Western-Japanese fusion cuisine and
healthy options.

first authorised JOYPOLIS SPORTS flagship outside Japan in Hong Kong is a
significant step in our global expansion. We selected Kai Tak Sports
Park and its Kai Tak Mall for its excellent location and first-class
facilities, which are sure to attract many local and international
visitors."

The attraction is part of the Kai Tak Sports Park, featuring a
50,000-seat stadium, a 10,000-seat arena, and a 5,000-seat youth sports
ground. JOYPOLIS SPORTS will be located in the Kai Tak Mall, opening
later this year, while the park’s major facilities are expected to be
completed in 2025.
