For those special moments – a wedding, a honeymoon or perhaps a romantic proposal - Adora Cruises wants you to meet Master Hwa, a friendly robot who will help passengers make the most of a special occasion.

Adora Mediterranea’s interactive Robot Cultural Ambassador – named Hwajing SeaMate Master Hwa - will be onboard when Adora Cruises homeports at Port Klang, Kuala Lumpur, later this year.

Adora Cruises and Malaysia’s Hwajing Travel & Tours unveiled the  humanoid robot at the MATTA Fair over the weekend.

Master Hwa will be on deck for sail-away ceremonies, cultural showcases, family activities, entertainment, photo opportunities and farewell moments.

Kenny Cheong, managing director of Hwajing Travel & Tours, said, “We are introducing more than a new technology; we hope to create a new dimension of the cruise experience.

“Through Master Hwa, we hope to showcase Malaysian culture in a more innovative, youthful and internationally engaging way.”

From 24 November, Hwajing Travel will operate sailings aboard Adora Mediterranea from Port Klang, offering a choice of four itineraries:

  • 3D2N Port Klang – Penang – Port Klang

  • 4D3N Port Klang – Penang – Langkawi – Port Klang

  • 4D3N Port Klang – Phuket – Port Klang

  • 6D5N Port Klang – Nha Trang – Guangzhou, departing 14 December 2026 (one-way)
