On the Vivid Climb 2018, from May 25 to June 16, climbers of the Australian icon will take in the illuminated city and the best view of the Opera House sails.

Sydney Harbour Bridge climbers are being invited to experience the 'high'-lights of Vivid Sydney's 10th anniversary - a 70's style lit-up dance floor, flashing in random multi-colours like “Saturday Night Fever”.

On the Vivid Climb 2018, from May 25 to June 16, climbers of the Australian icon will take in the illuminated city and the best view of the Opera House sails.

They will also become a part of the art in Vivid Climb vests fitted with flashing lights, visible to the Vivid fans below.

The experience begins with a bucket list ascent to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. There climbers cross a steel catwalk at the summit to the unique installation, select a music medley from their preferred decade, ranging from the 60's to the 10's, and break out their best (and worst) dance moves.

2018 marks the 10th anniversary of Vivid, the Southern Hemisphere's largest festival of light, music and ideas, which Sydney will host over three weeks of industry forums, outdoor lighting sculptures and exhibitions and a range of contemporary music performances.

Every night from 6pm to 11pm, during Vivid Sydney, the city will light up with sculptures, installations and grand-scale projections.

The Vivid Climb takes place on all climbs departing at night, including a Climb in Mandarin departing at 5.40pm each night.
