Scoot has announced three new destinations – Chiang Rai in Thailand, and Okinawa and Tokyo (Haneda) in Japan – with flights launching between December 2025 and March 2026.
The airline will begin five weekly flights to Chiang Rai from 1 January 2026 using Embraer E190-E2 aircraft. Okinawa services will operate three times weekly from 15 December 2025 on Airbus A320 family aircraft. Daily flights to Tokyo (Haneda) will commence on 1 March 2026 aboard Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
One-way economy class fares start from SGD128 to Chiang Rai, and SGD190 to both Okinawa and Tokyo (Haneda), inclusive of taxes. Bookings are now open via Scoot’s website, mobile app and other channels.
With these additions, Scoot will operate 111 weekly flights to Thailand and 45 to Japan. Its network will expand to 76 destinations across 18 countries and territories.
Scoot will also increase flight frequencies to meet expected demand during the holiday season. From August 2025, Bangkok services will rise from 35 to 39 weekly. Ipoh will increase from 17 to 21 weekly from November, and Chiang Mai will double to 14 weekly by December.
In North Asia, Tokyo (Narita) via Taipei will increase to 14 weekly flights from October, while Sapporo (Hokkaido) via Taipei will grow from four to seven weekly from December. Singapore–Taipei services will rise to 28 weekly by December. Jeju flights will increase from five to seven weekly from January 2026.
Vienna services will increase from three to four weekly from March 2026.
