Cathay Pacific is set to bring back flights linking Singapore and Bangkok in March 2024. The popular route, temporarily halted due to the pandemic, will resume with its original flight numbers (CX712/717) and timings.

Departing from Changi just before 1.30pm, the 2-hour 50-minute flight allows for a seamless short-duration getaways, reaching Bangkok by early evening. The return journey from Bangkok to Singapore departs at 11.55am, providing a mid-afternoon arrival into Changi at 3.25pm.

Operated on Airbus A330-300 aircraft, the service features 39 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration and 223 Economy Class seats in a 2-4-2 configuration. Cathay Pacific is offering generous award space for this route, making it an appealing option for Asia Miles and Avios redemptions. Notably, Qatar Airways Privilege Club Avios provides optimal value, offering lower award rates compared to other programmes.

Despite British Airways' devaluation of Avios awards on Cathay Pacific, this renewed route promises convenience and value, especially for travellers seeking a swift escape to Bangkok.
