Air New Zealand has unveiled details of its new business premier and economy cabin designs for its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, first introduced to the fleet in late 2010.

The carrier's refreshed business premier cabin will offer 44 Collins Elevation seats with 43-inch pitch that can be converted to lie-flat beds. Each will have a door for privacy, with center seats having sliding privacy dividers.

All seats will have an 18-inch screen with Bluetooth audio connectivity, alongside USB A and C outlets. The cabin layout will also be updated to a reverse herringbone format.

For economy class, Air New Zealand said the cabin will offer 246 "ergonomically designed" seats from Zim, two more than the current layout.

Economy stretch seats come with a 35-inch pitch, compared to the standard economy seats with 31-32-inch pitch. All seats will have a 13-inch screen with Bluetooth audio connectivity, alongside USB C outlets.

The recently refreshed Premium Economy cabin will remain as is.

The first Boeing 777 is scheduled to be retrofitted in March and in service by May 2027, according to the carrier.
